Two summers ago, I manifested a house in the mountains for two weeks. It was so healing to spend time in Nature because Nature is the ultimate teacher of our full unstoppable potential.

My dog got to be off leash 24/7, and so did I. I got to work when I wanted to and be outside when I wanted to. I got to be curious and let my creativity run wild. This is how we all want to live all the time, isn’t it?

Unrestrained. Confident. Happy. Expressive. Free.

What will it take for you to unleash your full potential and let yourself run free?

Take some time today to journal about these questions and be honest with yourself. When you get clear and brutally honest with yourself about why you do what you do, you unlock the door of the cage you have willingly put yourself in. You are free.

What would it take for you to really let yourself have what you really want?

Most people say they want more money, but they refuse to actually take the baby steps needed to make it happen. If you want to make more money, it’s pretty simple: You focus on making more money.

What does that mean specifically?

It means you focus your time and energy on how you can serve the people who want what you have to offer.

For example, if you are a painter, it means you paint more paintings and you sell your art to people who love the way you see beauty in the world. You teach classes to others who want to learn to paint in the style that you do. You write about painting. You lead painting retreats where people get to create art in beautiful environments. Et cetera.

From your love of painting spring multiple ideas about how you offer what you love to more people.

In other words, as a painter, you live and breathe painting and your joy is automatically contagious and magnetic.

Making money is purely a creative act.

Self-doubt on the other hand is soul-crushing and it also repels clients fast. If you lead with “Nobody wants what I have to offer,” you unconsciously put the kabosh on your creativity and your joy. You tell your subconscious mind, “No one will buy this,” and then your subconscious mind will set out to prove you right. Your beliefs create your reality.

How do you habitually hold yourself back?

I know many creative, spiritual, visionary artists who are so attached to the starving artists mentality that they insist on being broke, even when abundance and freedom is available.

As Henry Ford says, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t — you’re right.”

Your beliefs create your reality. Your brain does not actually know the difference between you imagining something and it happening in real time. Your brain will react as though it’s happening in real time. This is powerful.

It means that you can direct your thoughts to the reality you intend to create and your mind with follow. Declare your intention. Tell people about your dream. When you commit to your vision 100 percent, what you once imagined becomes a reality.

This is how Creation happens. One thought at a time.

TRULY, ‘thoughts are things,’ and powerful things that, when they are mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a burning desire for their translation into riches, or other material objects.
~Napoleon Hill

What are the stories you keep telling yourself that are choking you off from the freedom you say you want?

I have worked with hundreds of creative, heart-centered entrepreneurs to help them get off the financial roller coaster of not enough. In every single case, there’s one thing that determines if a client will succeed and fail. And that is the story they tell themselves.

Tell yourself that you are going to fail and you will.

You don’t fail for lack of trying.
You don’t fail because you are a bad person.
You don’t fail because you don’t have enough education or experience or enthusiasm.

You fail because you want to.

You fail because it feels safer to fail than to succeed.

From the perspective of your nervous system, success is dangerous, so you’ll do anything to avoid it.

You are powerful. You are the Creator of your experience. All of it.

You are the one who is creating the awesome bits, like consistent cash flow, day to day happiness, unbridled enthusiasm for life and awesome travel adventures.

You are also the Creator of all that does not feel so awesome, like feeling broke, feeling unworthy, feeling powerless, and waiting for someone else to do X so that you can take the next step.

Stop waiting for other people to do x, y, z so that you can be free. Your freedom does not depend on other people’s actions.

How your life and business unfolds is not up to anyone else, unless you choose to give your power to other people. If you choose to let other people make your life decisions for you, then own that. There’s nothing wrong with it as long as it’s a conscious choice.

When you choose, you are in the driver seat and that creates confidence. When you wait for other people to do x, you are in the back seat, and that creates a feeling of powerlessness and passivity.

What is your habit and what is your preference?

It’s up to YOU. How great is that? You are 100% in control of your experience, which means that you already know the answer to “What if…?” because YOU are creating the answer.

What if you succeed beyond your wildest dreams?
What if you become the best-selling author you dream of being?
What if you make more money than you never imagined?
What then?

If you don’t like the answer you get, ask better questions. Who would you be without your story that you are doomed to fail? That’s just a story and you can just as well write a different story if you don’t like that one.

“When you change the way you see things, the things you see change.”
~Wayne Dyer
